Barcelona fans have a right to be happy after all they crowned themselves with their second their second European Cup, this doesn’t take a way the fact that we also have pay tribute to the Arsenal who after all proved to be a great team also. Arsenal did a great job and played a great game it was not surprising after all that they were so hard to beat.

Arsenal started really well and it seems that when a player is sent off it is even more difficult to break down a side this also changed the game in a dramatic manner. When they scored the goal it helped them even more because to any soccer team a goal means hope and it accelerates rhythm and spirit.

Frank Rijkaard, a three-times European Cup winner as a defender with AC Milan and Ajax Amsterdam, joined the small list as he became the fifth man to win the competition as player and coach. In this list he is joined by Real Madrid coach Miguel Munoz, Dutchman Johan Cruyff, and Italians Giovanni Trapattoni and Carlo Ancelotti. I am sure that if he enjoyed it as a player he will certainly be enjoying it now.

The fact is that after the equalizing goal came for Barcelona things got untangled, it was very important and it busted Arsenal’s mental state as a team with one less player. After that Barcelona got in control and it was great that they won such a special game.
